Derecktor Shipyards is widely recognized as the choice for expert repair, complete refit or any conceivable service need. Our combination of experience, professional project management, and never-ending attention to detail have created an environment that produces unrivaled results and customer benefit. Our Dania yard is widely recognized as the most complete megayacht facility on the East Coast of the U.S., regularly handling multiple vessels of up to 220 LOA with our 900-ton mobile boat hoist.
Our new Fort Pierce yard is designed and being developed to meet the ever-growing demand of ever larger yachts, particularly in excess of 900 tons and 200 feet. Situated directly inside Fort Pierce Inlet, 3 nm from the Atlantic Ocean, DFP provides deep water (28 ft./ 8m) access with no overhead obstructions. Eight acres of level concrete apron give ample storage and repair space, with a newly refitted building housing machine, wood, electrical and pipe shops along with offices and other support services. The world’s largest mobile hoist - 1,500 tons - along with a planned 5,000-ton drydock will give unmatched flexibility and hauling capacity.
